the members of the camp. Jordan is also haunted by the deaths of his father and grandfather. I think Jordan’s decision to hold off his own death by not committing suicide is made in order to save the lives of the others who are trying to run away from the enemy. Just as one man’s life can have a strong affect on those around him, so therefor his death can have similar consequences.
