I think that Chinua Achebe choose that title because in the book, the character’s lives have a lot of ups and downs throughout the story. In my opinion, what the title says is kind of like a moral because when things fall apart in a person’s life, you should still always try to have strength to keep your head up like Okonkwo did. With me finishing up chapter eleven, I now have a better understanding of where I am in the book and why the title is the name that the author has chosen.
