only shows you what went on within the inside of the Negro Leagues, but also the factors that Blacks had to put up with while trying to gain recognition as great baseball players. Richard Bak wanted us to see that there was no real reason of the color bar in American baseball other than the fact of racism, but to expose that Blacks faced many problems and barriers, which made it very difficult to prove.
