When I was a little girl, I was given a beautifully cut crystal that was long shaped and could stand up by itself. The crystal was my childhood treasure. …showed last 75 words of 1223 total…I needed to. They taught me that something as delicate and fragile as a child's ego is really quite resilient. What Christy said was wrong, my race shouldn't determine what I can and can't do. I had the same opportunities to strive for my dreams. The crystal is still on my bookshelf today. It is a bit dusty but can still produce a beautiful spectrum of colours. Most importantly, the glue is still holding fast.
