showed last 75 words of 1429 total…also believes that he should face death and that it was meant to be. I believe that he thinks that he is being punished for his affair with Abigail. Another point which makes this scene dramatic is the way in which Danforth himself knows that Proctor did not see nor have anything to do with the devil. This to me is the most vital point, which makes this whole scene as dramatic as it is.
