On the other hand, I feel that this could have happened without having had slaves do all the work. The country could have worked hard for itself rather than bringing in slaves for the easy way. What the Africans went through was horrible and unnecessary. The benefits of the slave trade and slavery for America do not outweigh the tragic consequences in Africa
