This poem, "Ozymandias" by PB Shelley, strikes a very solemn note into the hearts of its readers> It provides an insight, though, into the mind frame of the author at the time he wrote it. Maybe a time in which he was so desperate that he could do nothing but portray himself as the sculptor.
