With such evidence it is plausible that a program for the advancement of multiple intelligences will not be resisted. Unfortunately, until that occurrence society will likely continue to define intelligence as linguistic and mathematical, and judge future success on those abilities. President Bush’s “No Child Left Behind” plan, though requiring further refinement, provides a solid foundation for future progress with multiple intelligences theory.
