To be a successful pitcher, a curveball is a necessity. The curve ball is the best
off-speed pitch to throw next to a change-up. A curveball is a not a difficult pitch to
throw. Once the basics are learned, it just depends on physical ability. There are many
aspects that must be included to throw a efficient curveball.

through like a fastball , bring your wrist to the farthest part of your stomach still not fully
extending the elbow. This will help to cushion the elbow to reduce the risk of injury.
The basics of throwing a curveball are simple to understand, but a little tougher to
perform. I would not encourage throwing a curveball at a young age because the body is
not fully developed.
