If these safety measures were taken seriously, the death and crime rates involving a firearm would decrease drastically. There are more negative effects of having gun than positives. The public would feel safer. They would be able to live their lives without the fear of a bullet targeted at them. The federal government must convince people to see the danger of firearms and control them more effectively or ban them altogether.
