As you can see, the Greek Gods had a great importance and influence to Greek culture. I have only talked about a few of the more popular characters in Greek and Roman mythology. There are many different cultures and traditions in which there are many different heroes and heroines, but Greek and Roman mythology caught my attention because of the emphasis their culture put on the Gods and heroes they believed in.
