My first response to the work of El Greco’s View of Toledo, Spain 1597-1599, made me think of medieval times where I had such a great visual picture of a row of knights riding on horses up a mountain to a castle where they will be in some type of battle to conquer and take over the land.

…showed last 75 words of 533 total…very expressive style, alteration of volume and space and the twisting of the figures giving a harmonious unity to the composition.
In conclusion to my opinion this beautiful masterpiece done by El Greco gives me the privilege of my own thoughts and opinions what the artist was trying to portray. This painting also allows me to open up a whole new side of me, which I never realized existed such as my creativity and imagination.
