In conclusion this book helped me better understand the life and thoughts of a slave. It made me more open minded and see slavery in ways I have not before. After reading this book I no longer have a one perspective view on slavery and can better understand slave’s motives and feelings rather then why they were used. This book is a good narrative and a helpful tool in learning about America’s history.
