Throughout history humans began to expand their territory and with the aid of technology they assimilated the land to do what they want. Humans being more of an intelligent species looked back at what they were doing and saw that they were endangering or killing other species, and their surroundings. Though the government hadn’t been a big role in restoring endangered species until the 1970's, now they have set forth laws such as; the Endangered Species Act of 1973, and organizations such as CITES and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to help preserve and maintain the species we now and need to strive.
