Many people thought that president Wilson should win the noble peace prize for the work he did. He tried to stop the war. He was a main figure on the American side of the peace making force. Many of the president's advisors told him to send a representative to help on the treaty of Versailles the agreement that was to finalize the result of war. However, Wilson refused.
