While watching a performance of *BANG* The Mystery *BANG**BANG* of Edwin Drood *BANG* the work of the director was quite clear. I often have trouble trying to determine how much of an influence the director actually has on a production by observing acting choices and design choices. What made the directorial choices so clear was the unison of the production. All of the choices fit so well together that a well-informed audience member easily

sitting in an old music hall when set pieces were constructed and moved in the same manner.
The little details like these that most of the audience either didn’t notice, or didn’t think about is what tied the director’s concept and the scenic design together so well. The harmony of these two areas worked very well and gave me, an audience member, a very clear vision of the work of the director.
