Mistakes that nearly wiped out the Indians could have been prevented. History does happen to repeat itself quite frequently, and this would be a horrible repetition if it were allowed to continue. Perhaps we can prevent further misunderstanding in the future by not being quite so selfish, arrogant, or close-minded.
