This verbal response is the manifestation of the deeper cultural fears inherent in the communities, which rose in response to the circumstances in which the culture was placed. The cultural fears cannot go away until the tensions creating them disappear. The cultural fears can however be analyzed via the verbal protests which express them, and help us better understand how the culture feels and reacts.
