Quoyle’s Aunt Agnis moves them up to her native Newfoundland into her 40-year-abandoned house. They fix the house up and Quoyle gets a steady job. He also begins making friends, and even find a love interest. At the end of the book, Quoyle gets married, and all is well for him and the rest of Killick-Claw.
