In conclusion, the prophecies given to Macbeth by the witches, Lady Macbeth’s influence and scheme, and his intensified ambition, all contributed greatly to his characters downfall, which resulted in death. His wife may have started him on his killing streak, but he was the one who finished himself off. Macbeth got what he deserved.
