in MacLeish’s J.B. Each story though written the same, has very different views and emotions from it. Though there may be different reasons for changing Job, one of MacLeish’s objectives was mainly for the audience to be able to connect to the story and feel for J.B. like they should when they read Job. The differences are there and the story is changed, but strangely the stories are the same.
