…showed last 75 words of 993 total…or she would probably be made fun of and teased if he or she said this, so instead he or she would build this “wall” around them and keep their feelings in them so they would be protected. Eventually the wall may become unbreakable or hardened so that not many if any of his or her feelings will be shown. In the first chapter, I think Holden has foreshadowed the same situation happening to himself.
