Of the paroled murderers, .31% were later convicted of homicide. There are actually a greater percentage of the non-capital crime offenders who are paroled and then go on to commit a homicide. Using this logic, crimes such as burglary, armed robbery, and fraud should be considered capital crimes, punishable with death.
