blamed for things that happen in the house. Eugene does not fit in with the rest of the family, and he does not attempt to fit in and be more like his brother or his cousins.
Stanley is the second father figure in the family. When his father becomes ill, he takes over the major family responsibilities temporarily until he gets better. His sense of responsibility is marred somewhat by his gambling experience in Act 2.
