The author of this book is Matthew Reilly. Reilly has written many books including Contest, Ice Station, Temple and Area 7. Out of these other four books, I have read Ice Station and Area 7. This is because Ice Station, Area 7 and Scarecrow are part of a series. …showed last 75 words of 978 total…long time. It is definitely up there with Harry Potter. To rate Scarecrow out of five stars, I would give it six. It is a really good novel that contains a lot of action, suspense and research. Research in this novel is excellent. All equipment that is used has a small history behind it and how the equipment operates. These three elements, have made Scarecrow an international best seller and one of my personal favorites.
