Wyatt Takes The Mound
I wake up and it's about 10:30 am; approximately an hour and a half till game time. I grab my hat, cleats, and glove as I head out the door. Today is game day. It's mid-summer and nearing the middle of the baseball season. Today I am feeling rather nervous about the game, which usually doesn't happen, but today is special. Today, I pitch.

shaken up but my team hasn't lost confidence in me yet. I get the pitch sign, wind up, and let on fly. "STRIKE!" A feeling of shocked satisfaction floods my brain as I realize, "Hey, I can almost do this!" Just because I can 'almost' do it, I have the confidence to carry on and finish out the game. I battled through many innings but in the end we prevailed, champions in my mind forever.
