In almost every story, whether it is a short story or a novel, there is a conflict. Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is no exception. The two conflicts in this story deal with Jim’s fight for freedom, and Huck’s fight between his sense of good and bad in relation to that of society.

standpoint of Jim becoming free, the trip and hard work put forth to free Jim was all in vain. If taken into consideration the fact that both Huck and Jim grew closer and Huck became his on person with his own ideals, the trip may be considered very valuable. The two conflicts do revolve around the main notion of Jim becoming free, which in all actuality wasn’t a conflict but a matter of time.
