Alexander Calder was born in Lawnton, a suburb of Philadelphia, on the date of July 22 1898. Calder did many jobs such as magazine adviser, an effency engineer for a window sash-firm, a systems engineer at a department store. He also worked on a ship, but what I think is the most interesting is the job he had in West Virginia showing a motorized cultivator to clients, and one of his final jobs was at a logging camp on the west coast.
