Whether or not one is an existentialist, absurdities occur in everyone’s lives. It is an inevitable thing that many people don’t even realize they have. Absurdness is a part of our daily lives. Although the world does not offer us any stability, safety, or explanations, we continue to seek these comforts from external sources. In my life alone I have observed many examples of the absurd. These absurdities can be found in relationships,

st place, seemingly out of sheer luck. In homecoming or “yearbook bests” contests, only the most popular people win, regardless of their qualifications.
These three areas are only a few examples of where life’s absurdities can be found. They constantly pop up in nearly any part of life imaginable, from college to the workplace to the elderly homes. These absurdities don’t make sense and don’t seem fair, but they cannot be avoided.
