A Dry White Season shows one mans attempt to change the evil ways of the white suppressors that torture and kill thousands of blacks just so the white people could live the lives they are used to. Mr. Benoit is constantly reminded that it is dangerous to try and prove the lawmakers and upholders wrong. By ignoring this warning to do justice he looses his freedom along with his life.
